What a credit buys
1 credit = $0.01. Charges are the provider's real cost × a fixed markup, rounded up to the nearest thousandth of a credit. Model prices vary, so these are typical figures.

What is a credit?+
One credit is worth $0.01. Every paid action — a model generation, a competitor scrape, an X post — is priced from its real provider cost plus a transparent margin, and the exact credits charged are shown on every artifact, run and message.
Which credits are spent first?+
Your plan's monthly credits are spent first, then pack credits. Pack credits never expire. Plan credits roll over up to your plan's rollover cap; anything above the cap expires when the next period starts.
What happens if I run out?+
Paid work pauses before it starts — Gridcast checks your balance first and offers an upgrade or a credit pack. Work already in flight always completes. Enable auto top-up to buy a pack automatically when your balance drops below a threshold.
Is there a free trial?+
Pro and Team include a 7-day trial with 25% of the monthly credits. The full allowance is granted on your first paid invoice. Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.
Can I change plans anytime?+
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately, are prorated, and add the difference in monthly credits right away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period, from the billing page or the customer portal.
How much are credit packs?+
1,000 credits for $12, 5,000 credits for $55, 20,000 credits for $200. Packs are one-time purchases available on every plan, including Free.
Is storage included?+
Each workspace includes 5 GB of artifact storage. Beyond that, storage is billed daily in credits at a flat per-GB-month rate.
What if a payment fails?+
We retry automatically and email you. While a payment is past due, plan credits are frozen but pack credits stay spendable, so nothing you've bought is lost.
